Mmmm, there's nothing like the smell of coffee. Coffee was first introduced to Vietnam in the 19th century during French colonization. Vietnam is the 2nd largest coffee producer in the world, after Brazil. While many other countries use the Arabica bean, Vietnam primarily cultivates the Robusta bean, which is more bitter in taste due to a higher caffeine content.

At TAIKO Bistro, we use a special blend of beans for our espresso drinks that'll give you the complex aromas of Arabica and the deep bitter punch of Robusta.
