TAIKO Bubble Tea

Bubble tea was invented in Taichung, Taiwan in the 1980's. It's also known as pearl milk tea or boba tea.

While the variations are endless, the original bubble tea was a milk-based tea with tapioca pearls (boba). There are also fruit-based teas, iced-blended smoothies, and coffees that are enjoyed with toppings such as popping boba, aloe jellies or rainbow jellies. The toppings add a textural and flavor dimension to a refreshing tea.

At TAIKO Bistro, we are committed to being conscious of your allergies and/or preferences. You may request whole milk, almond milk, soy milk, or non-dairy creamer for your milk-based drinks.

While some of our drinks are sweetened during preparation, most of them can also be adjusted to be less sweet. Don't hesitate to ask - our boba-ristas are trained to accommodate your needs.
